Pampered, spoiled. The first words that comes to my mind if I think about our stay at The Kahala Hotel and Resort, on the magical Hawaiian island of O’ahu.

Since the moment you step out for your car, the staff starts taking care of you and welcomes you with a typical Aloha Lei. Gentle and welcoming, all the people at The Kahala will make you feel like you entered a dream.

Dining at The Kahala

The hall, spacious and airy is right next the Veranda, one of the hotels dining options. With a large terrace overlooking the beach, The Veranda is more like a huge living room, where to have a cup of afternoon tea or sit back and relax to the sound of Hawaiian music with a plate of delicious sushi or a sandwich.

The lagoon at the Kahala is home of 6 playful beautiful Atlantic bottlenose dolphins as well as two sea turtles and several colorful tropical fishes. Do not worry for their wellness, as there is a team dedicated to them that constantly checks their health. Programs at the Dolphin Quest allow guests and keiki (children) to get in touch with the dolphins, swimming and playing with them.

If all this haven’t yet convinced you to book your next stay at the Kahala let me add that this has been once of my best hotel experiences so far, even if it lasted only for one night!
